Conditions for taking the test

To take the technical driving ability test, you must be 18 or over.

The test can be taken :

Via a driving school: you will need to have attended a minimum of 20 hours of lessons.

• Privately: you will need to have done a minimum of 3 months of driver training under a 36-month provisional driving licence.
