Inspection of new altered vehicles after registration
For commercial vehicles (and other specific-use vehicles), alterations and/or adaptations, as well as the fitting of accessories are necessary for them to fulfil their purpose.
As such, these vehicles must be presented for inspection after being put on the road in order to check their conformity, to establish their payload and to check that the various elements of the vehicle are in line with regulations. The vehicle must be presented empty, but with the alterations required for it to be used and with the tanks of fuel/potable water/gas filled to a minimum of 90%.
